Romano Subaru is growing, and we’re looking for a couple skilled Service Technicians to join our ranks. We are looking for an Experienced Subaru Technician, as well as an Entry Level Technician. In these vital, hands-on roles, you’ll be the face of our commitment to quality and safety. We take pride in our long-tenured team members and are looking for a motivated pro ready to advance their career and maximize their earnings.

- Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Subaru and off-brand vehicles to factory and dealership standards.
- Applying strong problem-solving skills to efficiently resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
- Ensuring every repair is completed promptly with a focus on detail and craftsmanship.
- Earning customer loyalty by ensuring vehicles are fixed correctly on the first visit.
- Expertly utilizing modern diagnostic tools and equipment.
- While Subaru Certification or Master Tech experience is a plus, it isn’t required—we welcome all talented techs with a passion for great service.
- Routine Maintenance: Perform scheduled servicing and repairs on all vehicles in strict accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
- Fluid & Filter Care: Efficiently execute oil changes and air filter replacements to keep engines running at peak performance.
- Tire Services: Conduct regular tire rotations and inspections to ensure vehicle safety and even tread wear.
- Quality Workmanship: Complete all repairs in a timely manner while maintaining the high standards of craftsmanship our customers expect.
- Meticulous Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate, detailed logs of all maintenance and repairs performed to ensure a complete vehicle history.
- Valid NYS Driver’s License (Required).
- Active NYS Inspector’s License (Required).
- Experienced Tech: At least 2 years of professional experience as an Automotive Technician.
- Entry Level Tech: Experience as an Entry Level Tech is preferred but not required.
- Subaru experience is preferred but not required.
- Proven ability to handle complex diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Comfortable using modern automotive diagnostic equipment.
Body Shop Technician
Come work for a Top 150 Automotive Dealership Group! Romano Subaru is seeking an Automotive Body Shop Technician to join our growing Collision Center. We are willing to pay top dollar and you won't have to work nights or weekends- our Collision Center is open Monday through Friday from 8am until 5pm.
Romano Subaru is a pillar of the local automotive community, backed by the history of the family-owned Romano Auto Dealerships. You can count on us for two things: excellent repairs and unmatched customer service. Our Collision Team is here to work tirelessly, ensuring your vehicle leaves our shop looking brand new.
Automotive Body Shop Tech Benefits:
- Flat rate pay range starting at $26 per hour, depending on your skill level and experience.
- Earning potential is $100k plus.
- No nights or weekends

- Expected to turn 80+ hours per week flat rate average
- Experience is preferred, but we are willing to hire with no experience, if you have gone through proper Body Shop School/Training
- Clean & valid NYS Driver's License
- I-CAR training may be required, as needed.

Body Shop Detailer
The Romano Subaru Collision Center seeks a Full-Time Body Shop Detailer to join their busy team. This is an hourly position that offers a full benefits package. We offer an excellent work/life balance with no nights, and we are closed on Sundays.Duties include but are not limited to:
- Washing, detailing, buffing, and polishing cars
- Trash and scrap metal removal
- Cleaning the shop and organizing parts
- Must have clean NYS Drivers' License
- Must have reliable transportation
- No need to have experience, we are willing to train!
